Our campaign promises.

Our team has worked hard to provide you with a lot of promises for your next year. Still, this list is not everything.

We are continue working on improving your student life and will provide you with even more events and benefits.

Executive board

• 2 trips to exotic locations (1 per semester) ; a vote to choose between: London, Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona

• 3 exchanges with other Sciences Po campuses (again a vote)

• Close coordination with other bureaus (BDA, BDS)

• Partnerships with local schools (RMS, IUT, etc.) in both daylife & nightlife

• Currently in talks to renew our partnership with:

- Veuve-Clicquot Ponsardin to make sure Yelloween takes place
- BNP Paribas to renew the partnership and make it more beneficial

Daylife scene

• Themed apéro each month with live DJ-ing

• Themed Holiday events (Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween costume contest, etc.)

• Lunch Partnership with local Boulangerie (sandwiches to be brought on campus)

• Extra event every month decided by online vote/survey (laser tag, paint-balling, hot air balloon rides, etc.)

• The opening of an on campus radio station to better enjoy breaks and free time

Nightlife scene

• 5 formal events for the campus:

Integration party, Yelloween, Winter Wonderland, Spring Fling, End of the year Gala

• Bar crawl each month with discounts for Sciences Po students

• For sure: partnership with Sherlock and Hemmingway - which means discounts for drinks. Other partnerships will be updated.

• Overnight trip to Allegra (best club in Champagne-Ardenne region)

• In talks for a long-term party partnership with RMS

Communication /

Marketing

• Monthly or weekly (to be determined) BDE newsletter, in coordination with the BDS and BDA

• BDE Suggestions box (online and on campus) so we can continuously improve your social experience

• Weekly posting of events with additional reminders for those attending

Marketing

• Weekly updating of the website, facebook page, twitter, email, all social media,

• Professional photos and film of all BDE events to be published online

Other promises

Disintegration

• Farewell event at Lac du Der: a weekend filled with water-skiing, wakeboarding, boating, sports matches, and many other activities such as an unforgettable party and a huge bonfire

• The planning of a reunion event for the third years in May 2013, in order for the ones returning to France to meet up after one year abroad. Same event for current second years in May 2014.

Integration

• A fun-filled camping weekend with the first years at Lac des Vieilles Forges in the Ardenne Forest which will include a mini-olympic games (which will be aimed at properly integrating new Beavers), an open-air party with live DJ-ing, a huge bonfire, and, of course, some friendly hazing from second years.

• Collaboration with the welcome group project to ensure the creation of an in-depth guide for first years covering information on housing, phone plans, food options, and transportation in the city of Reims.
